Cage

by Ashleigh Tomcics

Here:

a reverse shot, body

opening like a chamber

(skeletal unwind, discreation)

no release just

unknown clench, grip

(malfunction of system)

10% iron maiden roundabout

(the rest, frost on

windowpane, delicate, a presence unreal)

Eve’s roulette

(what happens when you choke

on the rib that made you?)
